Hey, Happy Sunday!
I’m aware that my Weekly Wrap Up’s kind of took a bit of a nosedive lately so instead of posting them, for the next 2 Sunday’s I’m going to be highlighting some of my favourite bookish friends I have made – next week will be my Top 5…Favourite Booktubers.
I got this idea from Stephen who you should definitely check out.
I have so many amazing, wonderful blogging friends but these 5 people I interact with the most and they have all inspired me in some way, whether it be on a personal level or on a blogging level.
Georgi is the main reason I started my blog in the first place. I used to buy books from her and then we got talking one day and now she is my best friend. Last year, I spoke to her about maybe starting a blog and she was so supportive that in the end I just went for it and I’m so glad I did.
We also co-host a book club together which I post about on my blog and we host readathons and other fun stuff together.
Georgi is a fellow Slytherin and honestly we have so much in common we couldn’t not be friends. She always has my back with everything and I’ll always have hers. She truly is my best friend version of a soul mate, we talk every single day and I have so much love and time for her.
Stephen has become such a close friend to me over the course of 2019. We live in the same city and we have some other things in common too, like we both love Harry Potter! I hope one day to meet Stephen and have a Harry Potter marathon watch with him, it would be so fun.
I love reading his book reviews which are always so perfectly written and even though we don’t tend to read the same kind of books, his reviews always make me want to pick the books up! Stephen also has an amazing blog which you really need to check out if you haven’t already.
We talk pretty regularly and I’m so thankful that I got to know Stephen, our conversations make my days brighter and we truly talk about everything and anything.
I first met Steph on Instagram and I’m so thankful for the bookish community for bringing her into my life.
Steph is an incredible, caring, kind and supportive lady and whenever I feel shit or down, I know I can talk to her and she always picks me back up again. I go to her quite a lot if I need to rant or just get things off my chest because I know she wont judge and she’s always there for me.
Aside from all of the support she has given me over the last year, her bookstagram account is STUNNING and I love everything she posts on her blog. If you don’t follow Steph, then you really should be.
Drew is always so supportive of other book bloggers and I couldn’t not include him on this list. He writes the most honest, sometimes humorous blog posts I’ve ever read and I can’t help but giggle to myself when I see him post. He also isn’t afraid to say things like they are, he swears and he posts things that many people probably wouldn’t agree with but I find that so inspiring.
He’s also active on twitter where I talk to him the most and I always end up giggling at least a couple times when we talk.
I really enjoyed talking to him about the last episodes of Game of Thrones when they aired and he will always be a great friend to me.
Me and Becca have recently become close friends and I’m so happy to of met her through bookstagram. Becca is also another fellow Slytherin, maybe that’s why we get on so well?
Becca is such a lovely lady, she’s so supportive of mine and Georgi’s bookclub and we have some great giggles when we talk. She also recently sent me 2 of her favourite books for Christmas which I had on my amazon wish list. Ive read one of them already and I know now why she loved it so much.
Becca has an amazing blog and an amazing bookstagram account which you should really go and check out.
